  Great Food & great coffee-'illy'- and always a warm welcome. This cosy coffee shop / cafe / restaurant is situated in Sherborne, just off the main Cheap Street in Swan Yard, (Car Park cut through). Excellent for lunch or just a coffee & cake. They don't hurry you, so you can have a coffee and read the paper leisurely. Friday nights they open in the evening for their 'lasagne night', at £15 for 2 course dinner. Simple tasty italian food prepared by Charles and served by Susan and her family. In the warmer weather you can sit outside. Not too pricey, (£4.95 for soup & roll, £8.95 for lasagne with brushetta and salad, £5.95 for baked potato& salad). Service is quick and with a smile. In my top 5 of cafe / restaurants in Sherborne. Can get very busy, so booking is recommended. They will also cater for private functions too, and have even stayed opened late, for a last minute family party for me. Seek it out you won't be disappointed. Note that there are no toilet facilities on site, but the public loos are just a 30 second walk away.
